Staying in touch with friends could be tough.

But if you have Loopt from the App Store,
you’ll know what they’re up to,
where they are,
and if they wanna grab lunch.

That’s the iPhone,
solving life’s dilemmas,
one app at a time!

Fake iPhone 3G obtained from eBay

Getting counterfeit stuff is not a good thing, especially if it’s an iPhone, yes? Not only are fake iPhone accessories being sold over at Bay, even a fake iPhone 3G was also bought from the same site.

Last month, an eBay buyer brought a fake iPhone 3G to MacMedics as he wanted his money back and needed documentation from an expert (as required by PayPal) that the item was not the real thing from Apple.

According to Dana Stibolt of MacMedics:

After I shot the below video, I did test some of the other features on the unit. While the icons look very much like the real iPhone 3G, the features were not easy to navigate to. As you can (see) in the video I tried to go back to the “Video” part of the iPod function, and I could not get that navigation link to work in the video.

So folks…be careful of “iPhoney” products sold over at eBay!
