Financial management via the iPhone

If you’re the type who wants to be regularly updated about your personal finances, the iPhone has loads of financial apps to help you keep track of your spending or your stocks. While some of these financial apps are free, there are apps that you have to pay for. Thus, it’s best to do some research and consider ratings before buying an app.

MENAFN MarketWatch recommends these five iPhone apps for financial management:

1. Track your stocks with the Bloomberg iPhone app for free. This financial app enables users to create a list of stocks to track anywhere, plus news and other features.

2. Track your checking with free apps from Bank of America, Chase, Citibank or PayPal. Check balance, pay bills or transfer money with these banking apps or send money via PayPal anywhere with the iPhone.

3. Track your expenses with the Mint.com iPhone app for free. This tool requires you to open a Mint account online first.

4. Track your expenses with the iXpenselt iPhone app for $4.99. This iPhone app tallies monthly personal expenses and creates work expenses.

5. Track the cheapest gas stations with the GasBuddy iPhone app at $2.99.
