Addictive iPhone game apps for fun

There are loads of iPhone apps available for users to download and these apps not only inform or help organize things, most of these apps are also there to entertain and offer fun, some are even addictive!

Check out some of these addictive iPhone game apps as listed by Marc Saltzman of USA TODAY:

Jules Verne’s Return to Mysterious Island is an adventure game by Chillingo at $4.99. This game is based on a novel by Jules Verne and is a first-person game with the character Mina, a young sailor who survives by finding and combining items in solving the isle’s mystery.

Another addictive game is Peggle by PopCap Games at $4.99. This ball-bouncing puzzle game features almost 100 levels where a ball hits colored pegs and bumpers along the way as it cascades downwards from where the player chooses to shoot it at the top of the screen, and advancing to more stages depending on the hits.

For those who love brain-teasers, there’s the Moron Test by DistinctDev at $0.99. See how smart you are by solving as many brain-teasing puzzles as you can from the Moron Test’s over 100 puzzles collection. This will surely be a hit among friends with scores ranging from Moron to Genius.

Fishing enthusiasts can play virtually on their iPhones with the Flick Fishing by Freeverse at $0.99. This game takes the player on a virtual fishing trip to exotic locations, also with a “brag” feature which lets him show off a big catch via email. This app also allows in-game purchases, where the player gains access to more features (e.g. private beach, online competition) for 99 cents more.
